Zerotuss XP Syrup is manufactured by Aristo Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd. Zerotuss XP Syrup is a combination of three drugs (Ambroxol + Levosalbutamol + Guaifenesin). It is used to treat a cough with mucus. It thins the mucus in the nose, trachea, and lungs, making it easier to cough out. It also gives relief from runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. And it is used in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder.
Zerotuss XP Syrup Composition
- Ambroxol (30mg/5ml)
- Levosalbutamol (1mg/5ml)
- Guaifenesin (50mg/5ml)
Zerotuss XP Syrup Uses
Zerotuss XP Syrup is used in the prevention and treatment of these diseases –
- Mucus cough treatment
- Cold and cough
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- during an asthma attack
- chronic bronchitis,
Zerotuss XP Syrup Dosage
Dosage: 2.5 ml 3 to 4 times a day in children
For adults- take 5 ml 3 to 4 times a day or as per your doctor’s advice. Zerotuss XP Syrup can be taken before or after food.
Zerotuss XP Syrup Side effects
If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.
Common side effects are as follows-

- Allergic reaction
