Yees D Capsule is manufactured by Alkem Laboratories Ltd. Yees D Capsule is a combination of two medicines (Domperidone + Esomeprazole). It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease by relieving the symptoms of acidity such as indigestion, gas, abdominal pain or burning.
Yees D Capsule Composition
- Domperidone 30mg
- Esomeprazole 40mg
Domperidone is a prokinetic that works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, making food move more easily through the stomach.
Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor which decreases the amount of acid in the stomach and provides relief from acid-related indigestion and gas.
Yees D Capsule Uses
Yees D Capsule is used in the prevention and treatment of the following diseases –
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux)
- Stomach ulcer (peptic ulcer disease)
- Stomach irritation
Yees D Capsule Dosage
Take this medicine in the dosage and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Yees D Capsule can be taken before or after food.
Yees D Capsule Side Effects
If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.
Common side effects are as follows-
- Stomach pain
- Abdominal distension
- Dryness in the mouth
