Sompraz D 40 Capsule SR is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Sompraz D 40 Capsule SR is a combination of two medicines (Domperidone + Esomeprazole). It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease by relieving the symptoms of acidity such as indigestion, gas, abdominal pain or burning.

Sompraz D 40 Capsule SR Composition

Domperidone 30mg

Esomeprazole 40mg

Domperidone is a prokinetic that works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, making food move more easily through the stomach.

Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor which decreases the amount of acid in the stomach and provides relief from acid-related indigestion and gas.

Sompraz D 40 Capsule SR is used in the prevention and treatment of the following diseases –
