Softee Plus Syrup is manufactured by Leo Pharmaceuticals. Which is used to relieve constipation. and other uses to clear the bowels for post-operative conditions. Also used for relieving constipation in patients with heart disease, hernia and anorectal disorders.
Softee Plus Syrup Composition
- Sodium Picosulfate (3.33 Mg)
- Liquid Paraffin (1.25 Ml)
- Magnesium Hydroxide / Milk Of Magnesia (3.75 Ml)
Sodium Picosulfate is converted by bacteria in the intestine to the active form that stimulates bowel movements.
Liquid Paraffin softens the stool and helps in bowel movement.
Magnesium Hydroxide is an antacid that reduces hyperacidity in the stomach and also increases water in the intestine, thereby cleaning the intestines.
