Rifagut 200 Tablet is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Rifagut 200 Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills ammonia-producing bacteria in the digestive tract. It is used to relieve symptoms of hepatic encephalopathy (difficulty speaking, confusion, muscle problems).

Hepatic encephalopathy is a condition in which the liver cannot remove harmful toxins from the blood, causing damage to brain cells. Symptoms include agitation, confusion, muscle problems, difficulty speaking, and sometimes coma.

The dosage is prescribed by the doctor based on your age, medical history, and current condition.

Normal dosage- 200mg tablet thrice a day or as per doctor’s advice. Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rifagut 200 Tablets may be taken before or after food.
