Respicure D Syrup is manufactured by Corona Remedies Pvt Ltd. Respicure D Syrup is a combination of three medicines (Phenylephrine + Chlorpheniramine + Dextromethorphan). It is used to relieve cough, sore throat, sneezing, watery eyes, stuffy, runny or stuffy nose due to allergies or colds. It is effective for treating dry cough.
Respicure D Syrup Composition
Each 5ml contains-
- Phenylephrine 5mg
- Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2mg
- Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg
Respicure D Syrup Uses
Respicure D Syrup is used in the prevention and treatment of these diseases –
- Dry cough treatment
- Alleviates cough associated with allergies.
- Post-operative cough
- Smoker’s cough
- Night time cough
Respicure D Syrup Dosage
The dosage is prescribed by the doctor based on your age, medical history and current condition.
Dosage for adults – 5 ml (one teaspoon) 3-4 times a day
Children (over 6 years of age)- 2.5 ml (half teaspoon) 3-4 times a day
Children (2-6 years of age)- 1.25 ml (1-quarter teaspoon) 3-4 times a day
Take it on the basis of doctor’s advice. Shake well before use. Respicure D Syrup can be taken before or after food.
Respicure D Syrup Side Effects
If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.
Common side effects are as follows-
- Nausea or vomiting
- Sleepiness or dizziness
- Dry mouth
- Blurred vision
- Loss of appetite
Apart from the above-mentioned side effects, there may be other side effects as well. If you notice any unusual symptoms while using the medicine, contact the doctor immediately.
