Quicnac AB Tablet is manufactured by Alkem Laboratories Ltd. Quicnac AB Tablet is a combination of two drugs (Acebrophylline + Acetylcysteine). It is used to treat and prevent asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD). It gives ease of breathing in and out. It relieves symptoms like tightness in your chest, shortness of breath, wheezing, and cough. And helps in doing your daily activities easily.
Quicnac AB Tablet Composition
- Acebrophylline 100mg
- Acetylcysteine 600mg
Acebrophylline is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It widens the airways and thins and loosens mucus, making breathing easier.
Acetylcysteine is a mucolytic drug. It thins and loosens the mucus and makes it easy to cough out. It clears the air passages and makes breathing easier.
Quicnac AB Tablet Uses
Quicnac AB Tablet is used in the prevention and treatment of these diseases –
- Asthma
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Quicnac AB Tablet Dosage
The dosage is prescribed by the doctor based on your age, medical history, and current condition.
Normal dosage- for adults Take 1 tablet twice a day or as directed by the doctor. Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Quicnac AB Tablet can be taken before or after a meal.
Quicnac AB Tablet Side effects
If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.
