Picofast Syrup is manufactured by Gennext Life Sciences. Picofast Syrup is a laxative. It increases the movement of the intestines, and facilitates the passage of stools. It is mainly used to treat constipation. It helps in emptying the intestines.

Picofast Syrup Uses

Picofast Syrup is used in the prevention and treatment of these diseases –

  • Constipation treatment
  • Intestinal obstruction

Picofast Syrup Dosage

The dosage is prescribed by the doctor based on your age, medical history, and current condition.

Adult: 5-10 mg as a single dose, usually at bedtime.

Child: 1 month to < 4 years – 0.25 mg/kg. max: 5 mg,

4-10 years- 2.5-5 mg.

Over 10 years – 5-10 mg. The dose is usually given at night. Avoid taking sodium picosulfate0 for longer than 1 week. Take it on the basis of the doctor’s advice.

Picofast Syrup Side Effects

If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.
