Lukotas HD Tablet is manufactured by Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Lukotas HD Tablet is a combination of three medicines (Ambroxol + Levocetirizine + Montelukast) for Asthma and Anti Allergic. It is used in the treatment of respiratory tract disorders associated with viscous mucus. It gives relief to cough associated with disorders of the respiratory tract like bronchial asthma, bronchitis, and the common cold. It also gives relief from allergic or seasonal allergic conditions like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and stuffy nose or chest tightness. This reduces the swelling of the airways and makes breathing easier.
Lukotas HD Tablet Composition
- Levocetirizine 5mg
- Montelukast 10mg
- Ambroxol 75mg
Levocetirizine is an antihistamine that relieves symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.
Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and is also used to treat the symptoms of the seasonal cold.
Ambroxol / Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm). Due to this, it becomes easy to pass out with a cough.
Lukotas HD Tablet Uses
Lukotas HD Tablet is used in the prevention and treatment of these diseases –
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder
- Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis
- Bronchitis
- Bronchial asthma,
- Allergies or seasonal allergies
Lukotas HD Tablet Dosage
The dosage is prescribed by the doctor based on your age, medical history, and current condition.
Normal dosage– for adults 1 tablet twice a day or as per doctor’s advice. Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lukotas HD Tablet can be taken before or after food.
Lukotas HD Tablet Side effects
If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.
