Elogen Tablet is manufactured by Glaxo SmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Elogen Tablet is a contraceptive Tablet. It is a combination of two medicines (Ethinyl Estradiol + Desogestrel). It is used for contraception (to prevent pregnancy) and in the treatment of irregular menstruation. It helps in preventing the release of eggs. Inhibits the fertilization process by reducing the movement of sperms.

Ethinyl Estradiol 0.02mg

Desogestrel 0.15mg

Elogen Tablet Dosage

The dosage is prescribed by the doctor based on your age, medical history and current condition.

Normal dosage- 1 tablet once a day for 21 days or as directed by the doctor. Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Elogen Tablet can be taken before or after food.

Do not take this medicine if you are under 18, or are already pregnant or lactating.

Elogen Tablet side effects

If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.
