Broxil Syrup is manufactured by Aries Drugs Pvt Ltd. Broxil Syrup is sugar-free syrup. It is used in the treatment of cough with mucus. It thins the mucus in the nose, trachea, and lungs and expels it with cough. It also gives relief from runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. Cools the throat and gives relief from throat irritation.
This medicine is safe and effective. It usually starts working within a few minutes and its effects last for several hours.
Broxil Syrup Composition
Bromhexine is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough up. Due to this it is easy for the patient to breathe.
Guaifenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways.
Menthol cools the throat, thereby providing relief from throat irritation.
Terbutaline is a bronchodilator. It widens the airways by relaxing the muscles of the airways.
