Bilafav Syrup is manufactured by Cipla Ltd. Bilafav Syrup is an antihistamine/antiallergic medication. It is used to treat allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, itching, swelling, and rashes in the body. It works by blocking the histamine that your body makes during an allergic reaction.
Bilafav Syrup Composition
Bilastine 2.5mg/ml
It is a drug of H1 Antihistaminics (Second Generation).
Bilafav Syrup Uses
Bilafav Syrup is used in the prevention and treatment of these diseases –
- Treatment of allergic reaction
- Allergic Rhinitis
- Urticaria
Bilafav Syrup Dosage
The dosage is prescribed by the doctor based on your age, medical history, and current condition.
Dosage in case of allergies-
Children 6 to 11 years of age – 4 ml 1-2 times a day
Children (2-6 years of age) – 2 ml 1-2 times a day
Take it on the basis of the doctor’s advice. Bilafav Syrup can be taken before or after a meal.
Bilafav Syrup Side effects
If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.
Common side effects are as follows-
- Headache
- Lethargy
- Dizzy
- Dry mouth
- Sore throat
- Constipation
- Nausea
