Information about Bilacad Syrup

Bilacad Syrup is manufactured by Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Bilacad Syrup is an antihistamine/antiallergic medication. It is used to treat allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, itching, swelling, and rashes in the body.

Bilacad Syrup Composition

Bilastine 2.5mg/ml

It is a drug of H1 Antihistaminics (Second Generation).

Bilacad Syrup Uses

Bilacad Syrup is used in the prevention and treatment of these diseases –

Treatment of allergic reaction
Allergic Rhinitis
Urticaria

Bilacad Syrup Dosage

The dosage is prescribed by the doctor based on your age, medical history, and current condition.

Dosage in case of allergies-

Children 6 to 11 years of age – 4 ml 1-2 times a day

Children (2-6 years of age) – 2 ml 1-2 times a day

Take it on the basis of the doctor’s advice. Bilacad Syrup can be taken before or after a meal.

Bilacad Syrup Side effects

If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.

Common side effects are as follows-

Headache
Lethargy
Dizzy
Dry mouth
Sore throat
Constipation
Nausea

Apart from the above-mentioned side effects, there may be other side effects as well. If you notice any unusual symptoms while using the medicine, contact the doctor immediately.
