Alernyl B Syrup is manufactured by Torque Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd. Alernyl B Syrup is sugar free syrup. It is used in the treatment of cough with mucus. It thins the mucus in the nose, trachea and lungs and expels it with cough. It also gives relief from runny nose, sneezing, itching and watery eyes. Cools the throat and relieves throat irritation.

This medicine is safe and effective. It usually starts working within a few minutes and its effects last for several hours.

Alernyl B Syrup Composition

• Bromhexine 4mg
• Guaifenesin 100mg
• Menthol 1mg
• Salbutamol 2mg

Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough up. Due to which it is easy for the patient to breathe.

Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways.

Menthol cools the throat, thereby providing relief from throat irritation.

Salbutamol is a beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. It is used to relieve symptoms of cough, wheezing and shortness of breath.

Alernyl B Syrup is used in the prevention and treatment of these diseases –

Alernyl B Syrup Dosage

Normal dosage – for adults 5 – 10 ml 3 to 4 times a day or as advised by your doctor. Alernyl B Syrup can be taken before or after a meal.

Alernyl B Syrup Side effects

If your symptoms do not improve after taking it. Or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor immediately.

Common side effects are as follows-
