Akt 4 Kit is manufactured by Lupine Ltd. Akt 4 Kit is a combination of four ANTI-TUBERCULAR medicines. Isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol, and pyrazinamide, are used to treat tuberculosis. It inhibits the growth of bacteria that cause infection.

Akt 4 Kit Composition

Isoniazid (300mg) + Rifampicin (450mg) + Ethambutol (800mg) + Pyrazinamide (750mg)

Isoniazid is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the TB bacteria from forming their protective shield.

Rifampicin is an antibiotic used to treat many types of bacterial infections. It inactivates a bacterial enzyme (RNA-polymerase), which is needed by TB bacteria to make essential proteins and to reproduce. Thereby killing the bacteria and eliminating the infection.

Ethambutol and Pyrazinamide work by slowing the growth of these bacteria.

Take it on the basis of the doctor’s advice. Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Akt 4 Kit can be taken before or after food.
